Knitting Circle is a stand-alone follow up to the hit spatial puzzle game Calico! In this gorgeous puzzly tile-laying game for the whole family, players are knitters competing to create the coziest, most beautiful assortment of garments. Learn to play this brand-new game with its creator and RinCon special guest, Emily Vincent (Pink Hawk Game).
Kohaku is a peaceful koi-pond-building, tile-laying game. Each turn, players will draft both a Koi and Feature tile from the central pond board to place into their personal koi pond.
Score points by surrounding flowers with koi containing matching colors, placing frogs next to koi tiles that have dragonflies, and ensuring that baby koi have a safe place to hide by placing them near rocks.
Butterflies score based on line of sight, so make sure to line them up with similar-colored koi. Turtles and statues bring a sense of balance to your pond and score points more easily, but sometimes aren’t as valuable as some of the other features.
You must carefully plan the placement of your tiles, because once they are in your pond, they can’t be moved! With no restrictions on the shape of your pond, you can build a unique layout to maximize your koi pond’s appeal.
After there are no koi tiles available to refill the central pond board, the game ends. Players will total the points scored by each feature in their pond. The player with the most points wins.
Come play Pandemic in the Quick Play Zone! Pandemic is a cooperative game with players representing doctors and scientists racing to cure diseases around the globe. This is a light strategy game open to anyone, and a full rules explanation will be provided. Rules and gameplay should take about 60 minutes.
Flip & Skip is a two-player abstract strategy game that combines the simple skipping mechanics of games like Checkers with the challenging tactics of games like Chess. This version is a giant game that is played on a six-foot checkerboard.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll have a table stocked with a variety of games available for trade (board games, card game, RPG's, etc.). Attendees are invited to bring a gently used game or two from home and swap it for any other item on the table. Please ensure that the items you leave are complete and in good condition, ready to be enjoyed by someone else. Don’t see something you want right away? No worries! The inventory is expected to change continuously throughout the weekend, so check back later for new options.

In CATAN (formerly The Settlers of Catan), players try to be the dominant force on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads. On each turn dice are rolled to determine what resources the island produces. Players build by spending resources (sheep, wheat, wood, brick and ore) that are depicted by these resource cards; each land type, with the exception of the unproductive desert, produces a specific resource: hills produce brick, forests produce wood, mountains produce ore, fields produce wheat, and pastures produce sheep.
Dead of Winter is a meta-cooperative psychological survival game. This means players are working together toward one common victory condition, but for each individual player to achieve victory, they must also complete their personal secret objective, which could relate to a psychological tick that's fairly harmless to most others in the colony, a dangerous obsession that could put the main objective at risk, a desire for sabotage of the main mission, or (worst of all) vengeance against the colony! Games could end with all players winning, some winning and some losing, or all players losing. Work toward the group's goal, but don't get walked all over by a loudmouth who's looking out only for their own interests!
Dead of Winter is an experience that can be accomplished only through the medium of tabletop games, a story-centric game about surviving through a harsh winter in an apocalyptic world. The survivors are all dealing with their own psychological imperatives, but must still find a way to work together to fight off outside threats, resolve crises, find food and supplies, and keep the colony's morale up.
Dead of Winter has players making frequent, difficult, heavily-thematic, wildly-varying decisions that often have them deciding between what's best for the colony and what's best for themselves. The rulebook also includes a fully co-operative variant in which all players work toward the group objective with no personal goals.
Based on simple and intuitive hand management, Heat: Pedal to the Metal puts players in the driver's seat of intense car races, jockeying for position to cross the finish line first, while managing their car's speed if they don't want to overheat. Selecting the right upgrades for their car will help them hug the curves and keep their engine cool enough to maintain top speeds. Ultimately, their driving skills will be the key to victory!
Meadow is an engaging set collection game with over two hundred unique cards containing hand-painted watercolor illustrations. In the game, players take the role of explorers competing for the title of the most skilled nature observer. To win, they collect cards with the most valuable species, landscapes, and discoveries. Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the main screen, while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Science, Engineering, and Weapon Control. Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (bridge) , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle and tells everyone what to do.
We will have 2 full bridges and some fighter stations, so you can do joint or head to head missions.
Escape from Planet Argon is a cooperative tile-laying game where players work together to escape an intergalactic prison planet before it is destroyed.
In Mountain Goats you work to move your goats to the top of 6 different mountains where they can score points as long as they stay there. You can share spaces with other goats on the way up, but there is only room for one goat at the top of each mountain. If someone else's goat moves to the mountain top, they will kick you off and you'll have to start your trek over.
It's a game about timing. You need to not just get to the top of the mountain, but get there when no one else is in position to knock you off.
It's a game about keeping your eye on your opponents. Maximizing your score, but also making sure you don't let anyone else score too much.
There is the fun chance to knock each other off the mountain. But it doesn't feel too mean because you can only knock back goats that are in a scoring position, and it isn't a huge setback. It is just a normal part of the cycle of the game.
In Sequoia you are trying to grow the tallest trees in 11 different forests. After your 10 turns, if you have the tallest tree, then you get the victory points from that forest. Second place gets a small consolation prize.
Each turn, you get to grow two of your trees. Which trees you choose will determine if you win or lose. Do you keep fighting in a forest with competition, or start growing your tree somewhere else? You'll have to wrestle with the dice to grow the tree you want.

It's just like regular Carcassonne, but GIANT! Carcassonne is a tile-placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, in such a way that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, etcetera. Having placed a tile, the player can then decide to place one of their meeples on one of the areas on it: on the city as a knight, on the road as a robber, on a cloister as a monk, or on the grass as a farmer. When that area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner.

Somewhere on a doomed and distant planet, life has emerged, competing for supremacy until the world’s inevitable destruction. The object of the game is to score the most points by the time the world ends. Score points by playing Traits for your Doomlings’ species, making them more adaptable, resilient, and mischievous. As your Doomlings assert their dominance, Catastrophes will befall the planet, causing setbacks for each competing species. When the third Catastrophe inevitably strikes, the world ends, and the Doomlings with the strongest set of traits gets to look the Apocalypse in the eye and declare…“I scored the most points!”
When bees are creating honeycomb, they connect their legs together to form a chain, called a festoon. In this game, players compete the be the first to form a festoon. Players take turns placing hexagonal bee tiles adjacent to the other tiles on the table one at a time. The first player who places four bees in a straight line wins.
As players create advantageous patterns and block others, Festoon becomes a game of competitive cooperation. Players must decide whether it is more advantageous to block another player's festoon or set themselves up for victory. The simple rules and strategic gameplay mean that anybody can play it, but victory can only be achieved by the player whose strategy comes out on top.
Fliptown is a flip-and-write game in which you are trying to earn stars by exploring a wild west town. The game uses a standard poker deck to drive an open world-style of game play, along with dry erase boards that serve as each player's map.
Each turn, flip over three cards, assigning one card to represent your suit, one card to represent your value, and one card to represent your poker card. The suit dictates which of four regions you activate, the value dictates which site within that region you get to circle, and the poker card goes toward a five-card poker hand that is resolved at the end of each round. Each of the four regions — Trail, Badlands, Mine, and Town — offers a different puzzle to master, while each site within a region provides a unique reward such as cash, gold, helpful items like guns, horses and tools, or bonus actions to create powerful combinations.

7th Sea: City of Five Sails is an expandable card game set in the swashbuckling world of the 7th Sea roleplaying game by John and Jennifer Wick. Players control one of five factions as they fight to influence, control, and explore the independent and unruly city of Five Sails. It is typically played with two players, but multiplayer variants will allow more players to get into the game.
During the game, each player represents a leader who, along with their allies, explore locations and fight both with swords and with wits for overall influence over the city. Along with each player’s individual deck, 7th Sea: City of Five Sails also includes an element of randomness in the form of a separate, shared deck that represents the city itself with unusual characters, items, and events that change the focus of the game. Combat is resolved in a unique “back and forth” style reminiscent of challenging swordplay.
Doomtown: Weird West Edition is a poker-driven, territory control card game, updated from (and fully compatible with) the 2014 release of Doomtown: Reloaded, which was based on the 1998 Origins Awards Best Trading Card Game, Deadlands: Doomtown by Alderac Entertainment Group!
All aspects of the game that require randomization are controlled via a poker mechanism as every card has a suit and value. Preparing for the hands you want to draw is as much a part of deck building as choosing the actions and dudes you'll want to play. Your deck is built around an Outfit, one of the six main groups attempting to control Deadwood.
Combat is resolved via poker hands. Deciding who goes first is decided by drawing the top five cards from your deck and the lowest poker hands go first.

The catacombs of the skeletal dragon Umbrok Vessna are mysterious and dangerous. Portals transport you all around the dungeon depths. Wayshrines offer vast riches to intrepid explorers. Prisoners are counting on you to free them. Ghosts, once disturbed, may haunt you to death. Despite all that, it's time to leave the board behind, because in Clank! Catacombs, you "build" the dungeon as you explore.

In Dominion, each player takes turns repeatedly drawing through their own personal deck of cards. Each player's deck starts small, but players can purchase new cards from a common supply to upgrade their deck; these new cards can then be drawn and used on future turns. Players ultimately seek to build the strongest deck with the most victory points needed to win the game.

Skyrose is a cooperative medieval fantasy game. Players battle to conquer an impenetrable island stronghold. Kingdom Builder, but GIANT! In Kingdom Builder, the players create their own kingdoms by skillfully building their settlements, aiming to earn the most gold at the end of the game. This game will include maps from two different expansions, for new and interesting play!
Everdell is a streamlined worker placement game that features a detailed world realized through stunning artwork. Utilizing a tableau-building mechanic, players will work to build a city of critters and constructions. Everdell is easy to learn, yet offers satisfying strategic depth and endless replayability.
In this Euro-style game, players explore space, claim pulsars, and discover technologies that will help them build energy-distribution infrastructure on a cosmic scale. "Company of Heroes", the World War 2 board wargame, is based on the video game from Relic/Sega. It closely captures the choices, tactics and mission strategies of the videogame. In teams, or as individuals, players will maneuver units and battle for control points to collect manpower, munitions and fuel. Players spend these resources to construct new buildings, purchase units and upgrade abilities, eventually unlocking the powerful end-game units of their nation.
We will be playing in cooperative mode, with the Covenant expansion.
A "sequel" to the 1981 grail game, Return to Dark Tower is a game for 1-4 players who take the role of heroes. Together, they gather resources, cleanse buildings, defeat monsters, and undertake quests to build up their strength and discern what foe ultimately awaits them. When the heroes face the tower, the game shifts into its dramatic second act, where the players have one chance to defeat the enemy once and for all.
7th Sea is a roleplaying game by John Wick. In this one-shot, you are in a crew of Montaigne-sponsored privateers looking to exculpate your secretive patron's compatriot, Henri des Canons, by finding the treasure that his Castillean rival, Margarita del Mar, buried and showing that it was indeed this rival who stole the royal seal of the Eisen Herzog von Meineigenwaffeln.
In the vast emptiness of the cosmos, secrets lurk in the darkness of nothingness. An ancient evil promises death to any who fight it, fortune to any who capture it, and glory to any who kill it. From Free League Publishing is the ALIEN RPG, based on the film/game series of the same name. This module, named "Chariot of the Gods" serves as a cinematic introduction to the game and world of ALIEN, and features a full one-shot adventure with pre-generated characters.
Blades in the Dark is set in an industrial fantasy city covered in perpetual darkness and haunted by ghosts. Cyberpunk RED is the latest edition of the classic TTRPG of the Dark Future, featuring updated mechanics and new lore set midway between the events of the tabletop Cyberpunk 2020 and CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. We'll be using the latest rulesets as provided in the Cyberpunk RED: Easy Mode book for fast, streamlined play. Dice and pregenerated character sheets will be provided. The game primarily uses d10 and d6 and players will be able to take home one of each as a souvenir.
This is an introductory type of session meant for players of all skill levels. Players will choose one of five available character roles and briefly work together to create a backstory for their crew. We'll hit the ground running with the fallout of a successful mission and learn some of the intricacies of the game as we go. Teamwork will be everything. The game features the Interlock system from R Talsorian Games and works best as a vehicle for storytelling. Look forward to working together with the GM and some new or established choombas to tell a gritty story worth the mirror shades you bring to the session.* Rule of Cool absolutely applies here. In Dishonored: The Roleplaying Game, players delve into the turbulent Empire of the Isles, to tell stories of occult lore, intrigue and drama. This module is an easy to play, beginner scenario where the players (hopefully) defend themselves from a pirate attack.
You are a group of adventurers hired by the Silver Key Adventurers Guild, a business that takes care of anything that is outside the jurisdiction of the local garrison of Winterhaven. This is a level 5 adventure where you can either build your own character using the PHB+1 (Player's Handbook + 1 supplemental book), or use the plethora of premade characters I will have available for use. The games will have a larger focus on game mechanics and combat rather than roleplay, so please do keep this in mind. All games will have a different adventure, so feel free to sign up for multiple sessions if so inclined.

A somewhat unseasonal blizzard has stranded you, a few other travelers, and a skeleton shift of employees for the duration. You're content to settle in with a hot cup of what passes for coffee and some idle conversation with the other patrons, but something feels... off.

"Exit 23" is an adventure from the Dark*Matter horror-conspiracy setting created by WotC, but we'll be using the venerable GURPS. Knowledge of shows like "The X-Files" and "Millenium" is helpful, but not necessary. Knowledge of late '90s trivia may also enhance your experience, but is also not necessary.

In Kamigami Battles, you will play as one of the Gods of mythology competing for dominion over the realm. You will recruit ancient Warriors and Disciples to fight in epic battles against the Gods trying to conquer your world! Each God has a pool of life force called energy, and by reducing a God to 0 energy, you can either kill or seal that God away! Players can choose to pair up with their friends in Team Match or wage war on all those who oppose them in Free-For-All. In a Team Match, 4 or 6 players team up in pairs of two, with one player the Main God and the other the Support God, to be the last standing after eliminating all of the opposing Main Gods. In Free-for-All, 2 to 6 players battle for dominance by either eliminating all other Gods or by being first to reach 25 energy.

Container is a game about big ships and big production. Each player will play both as a producer and shipper of goods. Players will decide which products they want to produce, and which of the OTHER players' goods they want to ship out to a remote island. During these phases, players will be able to set the prices for their goods and try to maximize their cash!
Once the goods have reached the island, players will play the part of the purchaser for their tiny island. Players bid for the goods arriving each day by ship, and the highest bidder collects these goods for conversion into points at the end of the game.
Sounds simple? It is! But the real challenge is turning your home production into goods for your island. Your government is willing to subsidize your purchases, but just how much money do you want to give to your competitors for that lovely crate of goods your island desperately needs?
Over three weeks (rounds), players will use their hand of cards, workers, and resources to do their part in rebuilding the great city of Jerusalem. After six days of work comes a Sabbath day of rest when food will be needed, and the week's work will be reflected upon. The game ends after the third Sabbath has been completed.

7th Sea: City of Five Sails is an expandable card game set in the swashbuckling world of the 7th Sea roleplaying game by John and Jennifer Wick. Players control one of five factions as they fight to influence, control, and explore the independent and unruly city of Five Sails. It is typically played with two players, but multiplayer variants will allow more players to get into the game.
During the game, each player represents a leader who, along with their allies, explore locations and fight both with swords and with wits for overall influence over the city. Along with each player’s individual deck, 7th Sea: City of Five Sails also includes an element of randomness in the form of a separate, shared deck that represents the city itself with unusual characters, items, and events that change the focus of the game. Combat is resolved in a unique “back and forth” style reminiscent of challenging swordplay.

All aspects of the game that require randomization are controlled via a poker mechanism as every card has a suit and value. Preparing for the hands you want to draw is as much a part of deck building as choosing the actions and dudes you'll want to play. Cascadia is a tile-laying and token-drafting game featuring the habitats and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest.
In the game, you take turns building out your own terrain area and populating it with wildlife. You start with three hexagonal habitat tiles (with the five types of habitat in the game), and on a turn you choose a new habitat tile that's paired with a wildlife token, then place that tile next to your other ones and place the wildlife token on an appropriate habitat. (Each tile depicts 1-3 types of wildlife from the five types in the game, and you can place at most one tile on a habitat.) Four tiles are on display, with each tile being paired at random with a wildlife token, so you must make the best of what's available — unless you have a nature token to spend so that you can pick your choice of each item.
Ideally you can place habitat tiles to create matching terrain that reduces fragmentation and creates wildlife corridors, mostly because you score for the largest area of each type of habitat at game's end, with a bonus if your group is larger than each other player's. At the same time, you want to place wildlife tokens so that you can maximize the number of points scored by them, with the wildlife goals being determined at random by one of the four scoring cards for each type of wildlife. Maybe hawks want to be separate from other hawks, while foxes want lots of different animals surrounding them and bears want to be in pairs. Can you make it happen?
Crypticolor is a fun and challenging code making and breaking game. Players are spies who are trying to break a rival network's secret code. The game combines guesswork, like in the game Battleship, with pattern recognition, like in the game Mastermind. This is a tournament, so players who win their games will play other game winners until there is one overall winner.

In Long Shot: The Dice Game, you and up to seven other players will strategize and push your luck as the action unfolds in a tense race of eight horses. Pieces · Both players start with six dice: a d4, a d6, a d8, a d10, a d12, and a d20. · One player starts with a black set and one player starts with a white set. · The game board has two separate areas for either player to roll their dice in. · The game uses a standard deck of playing cards, jokers included.
Starting a round · Both players start by rolling all their dice. · Both players draw 3 cards. White goes first, but black may reroll one of their own dice before the start of the game, because they are going second.
During play Players take turns back and forth and can use their turn to do one of the following: · Reroll. On their turn a player can choose to reroll one of the dice present on the board. This die may be under their control or the opponents. · Reduce. In Kamigami Battles, you will play as one of the Gods of mythology competing for dominion over the realm. You will recruit ancient Warriors and Disciples to fight in epic battles against the Gods trying to conquer your world! Each God has a pool of life force called energy, and by reducing a God to 0 energy, you can either kill or seal that God away! Players can choose to pair up with their friends in Team Match or wage war on all those who oppose them in Free-For-All. In a Team Match, 4 or 6 players team up in pairs of two, with one player the Main God and the other the Support God, to be the last standing after eliminating all of the opposing Main Gods. In Free-for-All, 2 to 6 players battle for dominance by either eliminating all other Gods or by being first to reach 25 energy.

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the main screen, while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Science, Engineering, and Weapon Control. Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (bridge) , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle and tells everyone what to do.
We will have 2 full bridges and some fighter stations, so you can do joint or head to head missions.

Rolldown Two players face off in a competition to curate odds in their favor. Players take turns rolling and removing dice from the board or playing cards. whoever removes the last pair of dice from the board wins the round. Rolldown is a true blend of luck and strategy.
Rules:
Pieces · Both players start with six dice: a d4, a d6, a d8, a d10, a d12, and a d20. · One player starts with a black set and one player starts with a white set. · The game board has two separate areas for either player to roll their dice in. · The game uses a standard deck of playing cards, jokers included.
Starting a round · Both players start by rolling all their dice. · Both players draw 3 cards. White goes first, but black may reroll one of their own dice before the start of the game, because they are going second.
During play Players take turns back and forth and can use their turn to do one of the following: · Reroll. On their turn a player can choose to reroll one of the dice present on the board. This die may be under their control or the opponents. · Reduce. On their turn a player may remove one of their own dice from the board along with an enemy die that is displaying the same number or lower on its upward face. Because dice are always removed in pairs. You and your opponent should always have the same number of dice in play. · Play a card. A player may play a card in their hand to change a dice's value to a specific number rather than rerolling it. Either player's dice may be targeted by a card. A numbered card changes a dice's value to the number shown on the card. A numbered card cannot be played on a dice that cannot represent that value, for example you may not play a 9 on a D8 A jack turns any dice to a 1. A queen allows you to make two consecutive reroll actions. A king turns any dice to its max value. An ace turns any dice into 1 or its max value. A joker rerolls all the dice on the board. This new adventure takes your crew deep down into the abyss on a search for the fabled sunken land. How far you get depends entirely on how well you work together as a team.
