We’ll be leaving this site open for sign-ups throughout the event, so you’ll be able to sign up here to play games all weekend, and you’ll check in at the beginning of each session when you sit down to play.
It's October, 1999, and you're at a nondescript rest stop off I-90 in northern Idaho. A somewhat unseasonal blizzard has stranded you, a few other travelers, and a skeleton shift of employees for the duration. You're content to settle in with a hot cup of what passes for coffee and some idle conversation with the other patrons, but something feels... off.
Which is when the lights go out.
"Exit 23" is an adventure from the Dark*Matter horror-conspiracy setting created by WotC, but we'll be using the venerable GURPS. Knowledge of shows like "The X-Files" and "Millenium" is helpful, but not necessary. Knowledge of late '90s trivia may also enhance your experience, but is also not necessary.
Pregens will be provided and rules will be taught.
You've been contracted for a covert mission: break into the garage of one of Arizona's most notorious Autoduelists and secretly install a game-changing enhancement on their vehicle. Your task? Give them an undeniable edge in the upcoming duel—by any means necessary. (The results of this game will have an actual impact on a Car Wars game later in the con!). Characters provided.
