Big Boy work crews uncovered a limestone cavern, and wouldn't you know it there's something not right inside. A band of outlaws was sent to investigate and stop the Big Boys. Seems easy enough...
You are a group of adventurers hired by the Silver Key Adventurers Guild, a business that takes care of anything that is outside the jurisdiction of the local garrison of Winterhaven. This is a level 5 adventure where you can either build your own character using the PHB+1 (Player's Handbook + 1 supplemental book), or use the plethora of premade characters I will have available for use. The games will have a larger focus on game mechanics and combat rather than roleplay, so please do keep this in mind. All games will have a different adventure, so feel free to sign up for multiple sessions if so inclined.
A level 5 Post Apocalyptic Mutant Crawl Classics romp. Stories of a rogue "smart metal" being the size of a mountain heading to your village are discounted by the elders until the treaded 10-story tall monstrosity begins cutting a gigantic swath through your jungle homeland. Can you find your way into this behemoth and stop its menacing march? DCC dice will be provided for use as well as pre-gen characters. DCC swag will be given out!
You are a Seeker: A scifi hero with amazing powers rocketing to an alien world on the brink of extinction. Can you figure out its mystery and how to solve it before it's too late? Part high action away team mission, part inception in space, there's something for everyone here.
Revisit the enchanting world of Hyrule in this unlicensed fan-made campaign! Princess Zelda, Link, and Ganondorf unite to claim the Triforce and protect their beloved kingdom. In this lighthearted adventure for beginners, learn the ropes of a new 3d6 game system while you face off against mythical foes and unearth hidden treasures. With puzzles to solve, creatures to defeat, and friends to trust, it’s time to make your mark on the legend! Fun, friendship, and fantasy await! Players can use one of the available pre-made characters or create their own from scratch.
This tactical narrative game system blends strategic combat, immersive storytelling, and familiar mechanics, with rules inspired by some of the best tabletop RPG systems. Built collaboratively with the help of AI and my gaming community, the 3d6 system puts a fresh spin on traditional gameplay. Players develop their characters through Character Archetypes, which shape their skills and abilities in the game world. The Effort Points system—spanning Stamina, Focus, and Resolve—adds a layer of strategy, as players must decide when to use their resources for powerful feats or maintain abilities over time. This game encourages players to balance risk and reward while emphasizing collaborative storytelling. Whether you're solving puzzles, battling foes, or navigating social and environmental hazards, this open development system is designed to be accessible for beginners yet deep enough to engage veteran players.
A Dungeon Crawl Classic's level 0 funnel scenario - each player starts with three level 0 characters. Local farmers, sheep-herders, rat-catchers, cheesemakers, tinkers, washer-women, hunters or peddlers take their chance to become heroes!
The peaceful rural village of Harrowbrook, known for its bountiful harvest festival, awakens after a night of bad dreams to a perplexing phenomenon: a sprawling corn maze, intricate and otherworldly, stands at the village's edge. More worryingly, two of the village elder's grandchildren are missing, and the elder worries they are lost in the maze. Who from the village will step forth to save them?
A low-level, OSR style game requiring ingenuity and stout hearts.
DCC is by Goodman Games (quick start rules linked below), and the scenario is very loosely based on the Cursed Corn Maze Festival by Kenneth Surls.
