This tactical narrative game system blends strategic combat, immersive storytelling, and familiar mechanics, with rules inspired by some of the best tabletop RPG systems. Built collaboratively with the help of AI and my gaming community, the 3d6 system puts a fresh spin on traditional gameplay. Players develop their characters through Character Archetypes, which shape their skills and abilities in the game world. The Effort Points system—spanning Stamina, Focus, and Resolve—adds a layer of strategy, as players must decide when to use their resources for powerful feats or maintain abilities over time. This game encourages players to balance risk and reward while emphasizing collaborative storytelling. Whether you're solving puzzles, battling foes, or navigating social and environmental hazards, this open development system is designed to be accessible for beginners yet deep enough to engage veteran players.

Returning to the Society HQ late one foggy winter's night. Four members of the Society sit wrap in blankets & sipping brandy to hold off the winter chill. Their coach rattles over cobbled stones and the driver pulls the coach to a halt. The driver calls down that they must have taken a wrong turning, and that they have arrived at a dark and unfamiliar town. The church bell rings out, breaking the otherwise eerie silence.
